Initiatives & Programs

GHBC Initiatives and Programs are dedicated to supporting African-American businesses on the pillars of access, awareness and advocacy.

Our efforts are designed to educate, enrich and empower small business owners.

GHBC is the “go-to” organization for business development and community outreach partnership opportunities in the Houston African-American community.  Your involvement as a partner and member with GHBC opens the door to new customer segments and small business resources, while at the same time signifies your desire to do business within the African-American community.

Women In Business

The GHBC’s Women in Business series is a great way for women of GHBC to come together and share coffee and conversations with other women-business owners.  The series also affords an opportunity to hear the challenges and most importantly the success from local and national Leading Women.  The Women in Business series is held quarterly.
