Calicia Johnson is a senior product and program leader with more than a decade of experience delivering complex, large-scale technology and operational initiatives across cloud platforms, industrial systems, and regulated environments. She currently serves as a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft, where she leads cross-functional teams to design and scale platform experiences that support millions of users globally. Her work focuses on building reliable, high-impact systems by aligning engineering, design, compliance, and operations around measurable outcomes.

Prior to transitioning into technology, Calicia built her foundation in engineering and capital project execution within the energy and manufacturing sectors at Chevron, Dow Chemical Company, and Eastman Chemical Company. She led multimillion-dollar infrastructure and production initiatives, managed large vendor portfolios, and delivered projects in high-risk, high-consequence environments. This experience shaped her disciplined, systems-thinking approach to leadership—anticipating risk, improving processes, and enabling teams to execute with clarity and consistency.

Across industries, Calicia is recognized for turning ambiguity into structured strategy, aligning diverse stakeholders, and driving results through data-informed decision-making. Her core strengths include product strategy, cross-functional leadership, operational excellence, and scalable program delivery.

Beyond her professional work, Calicia is deeply committed to advancing equity and opportunity in technology and engineering. She has been recognized as a Technology Rising Star and DEI Champion and is passionate about mentoring emerging leaders and supporting pathways into STEM careers. As a Board Member of the Greater Houston Black Chamber, she brings strategic, operational, and technology expertise to help strengthen economic growth and innovation within Houston’s Black business community.

Calicia holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida A&M University.
