It is indeed an honor to serve as the 2016-2018 Chair of the Board of the Greater Houston Black Chamber (“GHBC”) of Commerce.As the second oldest Black Chamber in the nation, located in the fourth largest and one of the most diverse cities in the nation, GHBC is a critically important institution for Houston.

As “The Voice of Black Business” for Houston, the Chamber focuses on providing “Access, Advocacy & Awareness” to African-American business owners. As Chair of this esteemed organization, I am committed to expanding the brand of the GHBC, by ensuring that our presence is seen in our communities, collaborating with and engaging partnerships to assist the African-American business community with impactful training, capacity building, and access to business opportunities.

I invite you to join us and become an active member and supporter of the Greater Houston Black Chamber! Our chamber has outstanding leadership with our President and CEO, a committed executive leadership team, Board of Directors, and Advisory Board all working on behalf of Black businesses in Houston. The Chamber, serving as one of your greatest advocates, will continue to provide access and unique opportunities to aid in your business growth, thereby empowering our community.
