Participating companies are expected to pay interns a minimum of $12 per hour and schedule them for no more than 20 hours per week. Internships should provide meaningful, professional work and learning experiences. Because interns are active college students, companies must offer flexible scheduling and recognize that students’ academic responsibilities remain the priority.
